Karaoke in Japanese ...
We were on our last night of karaoke in Tokyo. First, we were to eat at a Korean restaurant along with two Koreans, one Japanese and one guy from America. We ate traditional Korean food and it was a welcome return for our part. At last, a bit spicy foods properly.
Korean food is good ....
Karaoke ... It was different. We went into a 10 storey high building, which just looked like a hotel with reception and everything down there in the lobby.
It ordered it 30 minutes or an hour if you wanted to stay a bit longer. We received a note with a number. 410th We went up to 4th floor and found up to 410. On the way to room 410, we passed a lot of other rooms and from the inside you could hear people singing in full throat. I thought it was a small bar where everyone gathered a few pieces and took a drink while someone sang to the music and text on a television screen.
Room No. 410 was a small room with a sofa and a table in front of a television facility. There were also a couple of microphones, and a couple of large boxes in which they chose the songs that we wanted to sing. There were no bars or other people.
Luckily we had a Korean girl with us whose name was Kimmie and she knew how this came about. She started the machine and made sure that we found a couple of songs that we knew that we could sing to. After a while, it was really fun but very different.
Kimmie Thank you for taking care of us.
Right now we are sitting at the airport and computerized bit while we wait for the check-in. So ... we'll see when we have internet access next time.
