1800 + 1800 = 3 600th Golden Triangle.
Tour time again, this time a round up to Pai in the mountains out of Burma. The Way teaches swing 1800 times on the way there and it is certainly true. It swung all the time and in the steep hills, it was sometimes difficult to get around if you had oncoming traffic while. 
On the way up was the little villages here and the markets were full and Russel. As soon as there is more than five Thais in a single place to see three of them to sell food so that everyone can eat. Really beautiful everywhere here in the mountains and above all cool and nice for us northerners. The poor residents however, felt that it was cold here and the fur of themselves in both down jackets, big hats and mittens, Brrrrrr. It was around 20-22 degrees, then warm.
For a while it was so curvy in the hills that I (Karin) almost became carsick to sit on the back of Kjell and shoot so I had to put the camera away for a while and concentrate on that ride a motorcycle instead.
But after all these 1800 curves, we finally come to an old village where there lived a very Chinese.
In the past when there were no roads up here i had the mountains settled here and sustained themselves on growing opium. For this is the heart of the Golden Triangle. Still, apparently grown a great deal of opium in these parts of it are hidden out there in the jungle.
We ate chinese food at a restaurant that was built in the old style, and it was served boiled grisben which was really tender and delicious.
Then we drove back to Chiang Mai again, all these 1800 curves.
The night before we were on the invitation again. This time to another of the guys in the City Commander who has an HD shop and workshop in Chain Mai. But on the back of the workshop, he has also built up a restaurant in the old style.

You had to walk around among the market stalls and picking of the different dishes that the old ladies in the market stalls to eat at an open fire. Really different and it felt almost as if it were moved back in time to a time that existed here in Thailand for a long time ago. Everything was timely. The old ladies in the stalls were dressed in clothes from that time and they cooked in the same way as it was then.
Dance show
He had also arranged a dance show and the old traditional music for this. It was really fun to see the 60 bikers who sit spellbound and listen to music from the Middle Ages and watch a dance performance from the same time with complex hand movements and dance steps. But we are really grateful for everything good and nice as City Commander arranged for us. But now we must give them a moment to myself driving around northern Thailand in a week or so. After that, we return to Bangkok again to arrange the final paperwork before the shipment of motorcycles that can be nailed.
