Changed Landscape ...

Full moon ... The whole camp is bathed in subdued light the moon. We sit in the shadows from the tree next to our tent and just enjoy it a bit cool evening breeze that cools our legs just yet. A luxury to be able to sit in shorts after a full day in the hot motorcycle pants. A few meters away from us sits a small Wallaby and graze grass. It is very alert and sitting up straight and look around, and in light of the moon you can see how its ear scan of the entire surroundings while chewing. A few dogs barking in the distance and vallabyn become completely still, listening for a while after the sounds together and then calmly on. We pluck away the leftovers from our dinner and go to our desks and stuff when we get back to the tent is the small vallabyn away. Probably had it studied us ready for this time ...
A little petrol must have sometimes ...
Croydon (S18 12 110 E142 14 760), The camping here is that most of the campsites we have been to in Australia. There are toilets, showers and washing machines. The rest must be borne by yourself. Sometimes there is a grill or an outdoor kitchen, but not in this camp. When we paid our $ 22, we asked how much this society was and then told the lady at the counter - yes, you know, I certainly believe that it lives about 250 people here if we take the "stations". I would think that the stations are farms in the municipality. But fortunately we live in anyway next door to one of Telestras big antennas so we have full reception on our 3G modem to the computer.
Shrubs, trees and termithögar ...
Yesterday when we left the east coast seriously changed the landscape quite promptly. From being lush and green with forests, it became more and more small trees and shrubs, sparser and sparser between them and so grass, sometimes green and lush, where there is water, or yellow shades.
Fine road ...
Very nice, probably because it is different from what we've seen so far. When we turned right where the road one way and 63 are separated, against Georgetown were the changes more pronounced.
Lane ...
The road became narrower and narrower for the longest time just to be one car wide and the gravel edges that run out at the meetings. Long-distance switched it to be quite small road.
Gravel road ...
Scary when you meet the "road trains", which is long truck with three carriages long lagging behind. They may be on this road not be longer than 50 feet ...
Unfortunately it looks very dead animals along the roadside. On today's journey, I think we have seen 10 dead kangaroos, probably an equal number of small Wallaby and one bird and a few snakes.
Dead animals along the roadside are everywhere ...
But it is full of animals here so that's inevitable that some of them end up as food on the way to the other ...
