The new year begins ...
A couple of days on Kho Lanta
We're on a cafeteria at Klong Nin Beach, Ko Lanta. It has just rained a few splashes and the sky is dark with heavy clouds. The air feels fresh and freshly washed by the little splashing rain.
On the horizon is visible sun shine through and give a fantastic evening light on the beach. Children playing in the water while the mother is a bit up with its own striped drink in his glass. It smells like suntan lotion mixed with some kind of balm that massages the lady from a healthy tan you. His skin is shiny with oil, and if possible look even browner out.
A little puppy sitting in one of the sun loungers on the beach and looks out alone. The children would like to pat it but as soon as they come close to moving on to a little shyly. We walk away from serving the water back to our small hotel which is only 100 m away on the beach. It is evening on Lanta Paradise Beach Resort, and we shall go home to shower us o sand that sits between your toes.
Between the landing and transhipment in Aonang
On the boat out ...
We have taken a small boat trip out to Kho Lanta or rather to Kho Lanta and the islands to the main island called Lanta Yai. The boat put in to Saladan which is north of the island and not far from looking to Lanta Noi on the other side of the water.
Between the houses in the harbor water glitters ...
We walked from the port and found only one place to eat lunch and then we found a small agency that leased the two pieces of small motorbikes to us.
There are bad roads here too ...
We drove around the island for a while and explored it until some time in the afternoon we found a room at this hotel, after asking a few places before. Here, we parked and went swimming and had cozy in two days.
