It is just 50 mil ...
It was what we found out when we left Bangkok in the morning to run against Pattong.
That we can handle easily in one day and thought we drove to Bangkok at the 9:30 time. Kjell had GPS turned on, and guided us towards the southwest just as planned. But ... when we came to a crossroads where there were three major roads superimposed.
On first down there we tried first, but it was switched off a short distance after the intersection. Back again, and so we tested plan number two. This proved to result in the wrong direction so we had to bother us back to the crossroads again, and tested as flat number three. When this proved to be a pay highway, and motorcycles are not allowed to drive on them, but we turn around and run towards the road until we came to the intersection again, Phu ..
After further exploration we found a fourth small way that we decided to try out, we stopped for a moment and asked for directions. There were three men standing there and they had had their views on how best we could drive to get to Cha Am and Hua Hin. We continued a little longer on this road and then we stopped and grab a taxi, which eventually came to guide us out of the city.
So this may look like highways in and around bangkok ...
We drove down to Cha am and Hua Hin on a beautiful highway. Not very much traffic, it was not so we could drive like that in the 120 km / h a pretty good piece. When we began to approach those 50 miles so we knew it probably was about 90 mil to Pattong. We had driven away pretty good so we decided to continue and see how far we could and could. It was a lovely day with some clouds in the sky, about 27 degrees, good roads and little traffic just right all the time.
In the afternoon we came down the mountains in Bang Saphan and then it started to rain. Then it rained and the 30-mil, until we came to the bridge leading over to Phuket. Where the rain stopped and stayed there also for my motorcycle which was out of petrol. We got the hose over the gasoline from Kjell's motorcycle so we could go to a gas station. We drove past several of which were closed down and eventually stopped my bike again and again, we take from Kjell. Good thing he has so much larger tank. Finally, we found a Shell, which had openly so that we could fill up both bikes and continue down to Pattong.
Finally arrived
We drove over to the bar where Lelles Lelle and Mr.. Good waiting for us with food and drink. Then it was half past twelve at night and we had driven 86 mil, including 30 in the rain. There were not many photos taken that day, until all this conditionality then rain on top of it.

You feel almost drunk when looking at the pictures on the roads ... how does one find their way in there ...? In addition, of course people tend to run a little as they like in those countries ... Or what is your experience? We thought anyway that was pretty scary just to try to drive moped in Vietnam ...
